i have a 94 corolla and i think the transmission went because when it is put in gear it makes a grinding noise and will not move i was just wondering how hard it is to remove the transmission and if you guys think this is the problem or is it something else

COROLLA XRS - i just bought a 2006 xrs. it's the 2ZZ-GE engine with the 6 speed. it's redline is 8200 and it's pretty tame to about 7000 then all hell breaks loose and it really comes to life. that's where the 6 speed comes into use, to keep it in these rpm ranges. ....
