http://Toyota.autoboardz.com/oil-pressure-gauge-ftopict217215.html (oil pressure gauge questions)
the oil pressure gauge on my car(94 buick regal, 10w30) drops below 40 when it comes to a stop and goes back to a little above 40 when put gas. Is this normal? also observe a little oil leak, does it have anything to do with the oil pressure dropping?
« The gauge is behaving normally because of engine oil pump RPM variations, but the oil leak needs fixing, or soon you may have ZERO oil pressure. »
« What does it drop to? If it drops to 0, then you'd better be keeping a better eye on your oil level - that's why they put the dipstick on the engine. If it simply drops to 30psi or so, that's no.. »
« Thanks. I just DIY the oil change last Saturday. I didn't see oil leak overnight saturday. Drove 60+ miles on sunday and didn't move the car the whole monday. Then observed oil leak tuesday morning... »
« Thanks. It drops above the red zone. »

Hi group, I am trying to change the spark plugs on my 94 buick regal custom. Can anyone tell me how to move the engine so that the rear plugs can be reached? Thanks.
« Disconnect the front 2 " dogbone" mounts and rotate /pull the engine forward, I block the back of the engine against the firewall with a 2x4, but there are several ways to do this, have the car in.. »
« Some I have seen have a second flange so that you can bolt the dogbone at the rotated position. I have big hands, and it is still not too easy to get to some of those plugs, but it IS possible. No.. »
« If the wires are more than five years old, don't worry about damage, just replace them anyway. »
« Which engine does your Regal have? Reason I ask the question is that I've never had to rotate the engine on a Regal of that vintage to change out the plugs. Yes, the room IS tight (especially with t.. »

I have a 94 Buick Regal, and the AC works fine (cold), but it only blows on the floor. The vent is blowing on the floor too. On Bilevel, I get a little bit of air at the defroster, but none on the front vents. On defog, it's still on the floor. The vacuum switch that pulls the baffle is not mov..
« I'd do the leak check first. That car is now 12 years old and those vacuum hoses have had to endure 12 years of heat, etc. I would not be the least suprised if one of them is brittle and leaking (re.. »
