My air conditioning has been blowing hot. I took it to a mechanic and they said the switch was off? Now it doesn't work again. Could it be the temperature gauge, compressor? possibly a loose belt? anyone know?

My wife stopped at a Starbucks and when she returned with her overpriced coffee, the starter on my 92 Volvo station wagon (740) wouldn't start. Re: 92 Volvo 740 turbo is not going into overdrive: I removed the O/D solenoid from the side of tranny. WIth iginition ON and O/D button IN to enable O/D, I have good power (test light) right at the solenoid. I have to touch the solenoid to the tranny pan of course, so that it will work. It is d..

Question for the AC experts (I don't have much experience with this at all) I filled the AC system using DuraCool. Well, it is cooling, but not so great. 40% of the R-134 charge is what DuraCool recommends, which came out to 14 oz. That is about what I put in... the DuraCool cans are 6 oz ea., ..
