Thought it was because front tires were worn a tad on the inside and
cupped. Put new tires on front and moved cupped tires (not cupped all
that bad) to the rear. No change. No problem once underway, just at
low speeds when you first take off. At 5 mph the whole vehicle
shudders. No shimmy in steering, wheel bearings fine. I'm thinking
drive shaft but there's no noise at all. In or out of 4 wheel drive
makes no difference.
Could it be the rubber drive shaft support? Any help greatly appreciated.
