89 Honda Accord failed for emission test for CO, in both 25/25 and 50/15 catogery. I replaced the air filter and used car guarantee pass and drove 300 miles. When I took my car back for emission test it passed in 50/15, but failed in 25/25, here are results Test 1 --> 2.66 -- (1.16 allowed) FAIL..

Just replaced the head on my 89 honda accord and rotating the crank sounds like the valves are hitting the pistons? called the shop I bought the head from and they are kinda stumped too? I put the number one cylinder up and valves little tight so loosened up so the .006 will fit and the .011 on th..
« : Remove the head once more. Flatten a bit of plasticine on the piston tops so it covers only the areas where the valves might come close to the pistons (maybe 1/16" thick). Crank the engine over .. »

Howdy folks. I have a problem with my 89 Honda Accord. I have spark, fuel and air, but the darn thing just wont start. Can someone who may have had this problem tell me what fixed yours? Main relay? ECM?
« If'n you have fuel/air I would guess something mechanical... Maybe bad timing belt.. etc. JT »
