84 toyota celica sump pan

hi i've recently blown a hole in my sump pan due to long driving with a small leak in the gasket now the car itself is fine but i need to either change the sump or weld it. i've removed all the bolts in the sump pan itself to remove it but notice that both the sub frame and sway bar are in the way im only doin an at home job so i"m on the floor with a single jack is there and easier way of doing this or am i on the right track thinking i have to move either the sway bar or drop the sub frame and if so than how would i o about this? i"m in desperate need of some advice i no a little bit about cars due to 4 months as an apprentice mechanic so i thought i could do the job myself any help would be greatly appreciated.
