83 BMW 320i Running Hot

I have 1983 BMW 320i that runs hot in start and stop driving, I have
replaced the thermastat and flushed the Radiator. The car was sitting
for 7 years prior to me buying. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

Viscous fan coupling? (watch out, it has a reverse thread! 32mm nut)
