My young son, 10, loves 57 Chevy Belairs. I have suggested to him to
start asking for car parts for Christmas and birthdays to slowly put
his car together. Any suggestions of what kind of car parts that I
should start with? I appreciate all, trust me!

lol... funny. A bigger room.

Seriously, fenders, hoods, ect? I was thinking more like motor parts.
Since I am not proficient with car parts I am truly needing help.

Fenders, hood, doors, trunk lid, bumpers, frame... <bg>

First thing to give him is a *bigger* room to store that stuff.

(If you seriously want to get him one, start searching, you might find
one, but it won't be cheap!)

Assuming you are planning to start with a somewhat complete car, the parts
you need will be dependent upon what the car needs.

If you are planning on starting from scratch, look for a frame, body shell,
doors, fenders, etc.

OK, *much* bigger room...

If you want him to really have a 57 Belair, get the complete car, not
parts (which you'll probably never find anyway). Do you have any idea
how many parts are in a car? <g>
