My 407 automatic displays what gear is selected in the multifunction
display on the dash, ie P Park, D Drive and so on, but the actual selector
gate on the centre consol does not illuminate at all meaning in the dark
you cant see the position of the gear selector. Should this light up? if
so as i feel it must how do you remove the plastic gate? how is it held in
the centre console? is there a bulb behind the plastic gate? i dont want to
prize anything unless i might break something, help would be much
appreciated.
