Post subject: F-350 Door sensor location

I have a 2000 F-350 crew cab. When the back door is opened the interior
light comes on but it will not turn off until it times out. Can someone
tell me where the sensor is that activates the light. I think it must be
inside the door panel.

Yes. It's in the latch. Spray the latch opening liberally with WD-40 then open and
close the door a few times. This should take care of it.

98 Crown Vic Coolant Sensor Location - I'm trying to locate the coolant sensor on a 98 crown vic 4.6L interceptor. My best guess is that it is under the front of the intake on the drivers side. Can someone please confirm this? I'd hate to start tearing into this and find out it is located....

Door open sensor - Hello, The door open light stays on on our 98 Windstar, even when all doors are fully closed. This causes the interior lights to stay on for a while. All fuses are ok. Does anyone have any ideas where to check? Thanks in advance. -larry
