BMW 325i radio

I have a 2003 325i and somehow the settings on the radio are set for
European mode.
i.e. if you want 590 on the AM band it says "MW 594 KHz" instead of "AM 590"
or "MW 1197 KHz" in lieu of "AM 1200" etc....
I tried holding down the "M" button for 15 seconds to bring up the menu to
change the mode but none of the options read as "USA" mode. Even if one of
the options did read "USA" it doesn't say how to select it. Can anyone offer
any help?
