Hi guys,
I have a problem with my 1998 Peugeot 306 1.4 meridian and was wondering if anyone can help.
I had an MOT done on my car in which they changed both the front brake hoses, my car was brought to my work car park as I work just done the road from the garage. When I started the car up after work it was shaking and misfiring badly, so I took it done the garage and they changed the spark plugs and it seemed to be fine. A few days later I was driving it and it started misfiring again. Before they changed the plugs, the car was misfiring from cold, now I can drive it for roughly ten minutes and its fine, but once it warms up a bit it starts misfiring. I therefore struggle to get any power or speed, getting it up a hill is a nightmare. I suspect that it is a problem with the ignition coil but I am not certain as I know very little about cars.
Has anyone had a similar problem, or can anyone help?
Thanks.
