Just swapped out a 305 for a 350 in my '87 Chevy van... won't idle, though
it drives great. I now suspect I need to change the EPROM in my ECM. I need
help finding sources of information on this. Are dealers out there that
program eproms for you??

help, help, help

Its a 1987 with throttle body fuel injection, 4 spd automatic, California
car.
The ECM lists as same part number for both the 305 and the 350... but
different EPROM's.
All other parts from the 305 bolted right on the 350, including the intake
and throttle body.
Can't find any vacuum leaks. All sensors check out OK. Rebuilt the
distributor. Replaced the knox sensor and the idle air control valve...
nothing seems to help.

What I really need is to find someone that's done this conversion before...
