Post subject: 205/45/17 on an Acura 2000 1.6 EL?

I had 205/40/17 but my mags got destroyed with the all the unavoidable potholes.

I know that 215/40/17 does not fit...too wide, so I'm thinking 205/45/17.

Does anyone know if this will work or will I have a problem with clearance?
