2009 XLE Center Cupholder

I have a 2009 Camry XLE and the center cupholder door won't open fully
because a small piece of plastic has fallen into that small gap.

How can I remove the console or the door to remove that small plastic part?

I don't have an answer for that exact question but have you tried using some
double stick tape at the end of a small screw driver to fish it out?
