I dont like is the enormous headlamps and grill. Looks like a Ford to
me. But its not that bad. On the otherhand the A-BAT lacks headlamps
and grill, well its just me. I would like to see an optional 3rd row
seating. I like the glass hatch. I've read that it will come in 4 cyl,
6 cyl and Hybrid and optional AWD, sweet!
This seems to me like an entirely new platform, the powertrain is
itself is nothing similar to any Toyota, or is it? >> Stay informed about: The 2009 Toyota Venza |

Toyota's press release says that the Venza will be built at Toyota Motor
Manufacturing Kentucky, where the Camry is built. While the release didn't
say so, my guess is that the Venza is based on the Camry platform, like the
Highlander. The powertrains are similar to the Camry's as well.

I see many sites that says it will use a 2.7 liter4 cyl, which Toyota
uses a 2.7? This will give slightly more power to the current 2.4 in
the Camry. I think this may replace the current RAV4s, or reduce the
RAV4 sales once this is released. The way I look at it, the RAV4 and
Venzas ground clearance are not so much different. >> Stay informed about: The 2009 Toyota Venza |

That's nice, Ive read good reviews on the Tacoma. But, I wish I could
say the same for the 6 spd automatic. >> Stay informed about: The 2009 Toyota Venza |

The Tacoma uses a 2.7 liter 4 cylinder engine, which develops similar
horsepower but more torque than the 2.4 liter engine used in the Camry.

I'm pretty sure that the sequential shift 6 speed automatic used in the
Venza will be the transmission that is used in the Lexus ES 350, not the one
used in the Tundra.

I get it, you dont like the style of the Venza. And yes my family
owned a station wagon many years ago. It wasn't bad. I remember
hooking up large speakers in the rear, and hangout with my buddies. >> Stay informed about: The 2009 Toyota Venza |

I remember an adventure in a large Mercury SW full of teens.
We were egging on the driver to see if we could hit a hundred on a back
woods road. Damned near made it.
SW's RULE!
