The door for the lower storage compartment on the dash is not staying
closed. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm not sure on the newer cars, but I don't think Toyota changes an awful
lot of small details.

The catch is held with two screws. Loosen the screws and adjust the catch
until it stays closed. The catch I'm talking about is a square shaped
piece of metal attached to the dashboard, not the mechanism in the door
itself.

I would imagine that a 2007 car would still be covered by the new car
warranty, or you can try adjusting the striker as hachiroku suggested.
