Post subject: 2005 Outback CD Player - OEM base model not working

Just finished custom Sirius install on 2005 OB with the OEM bottom of the line radio. Single CD - no MP3. Now the CD player will take CD's in and out, but not play them. During the Sirius install I did need to completely disconnect the radio, but everything on the radio works except the CD. Crutchfield rep. suggested that I disconnect the battery terminal for 30 minutes (did, no luck) and then suggested taking it to the dealer. So much for DIY.

Doe anyone have suggestions for re-booting the CD player? (so to speak)
