Post subject: 2004 Chevy Malibu Classic Anti-Theft System
I just purchased an automatic car starter and after installing it, I found out I needed a bypass module and I installed that! Well now my car will not start!! The anti-theft light comes on and stays on. And after the last time I tryed to start it the anit-theft light went off!! Now my battery is dead from trying to start it!! Can anyone help me!! I will get rid of the automatic starter if it will make my car start!!! Thanks

Did you check the resistance of the anti -theft bypass. Was it connected
properly? Also most of these kits come with a help desk number. I found
them useful for installing my remote starter.
