Well I dug deeper and found my shift cable was broken where it connects to the shift lever on the trans. It has a plastic bushing that was broken so when I tried to put it in reverse it did not pull the lever back far enough to make the shift. The other cable was broken too but was still able to move the lever. Its a dealer only part so I paid $165.00 for it and with someones help we had it replaced in 30-45 minutes. Dodge wanted $500.00 to replace and have it ready for me in two days. But I'm "on the road again" so I am happy
