I've got a 2002 Grand Am (3.4L V6) with almost 99,000 miles on it. I recently switched over to synthetic oil (Valvoline Max Life Synthetic) b/c i had a coupon from vioc and figured i'd try it out. Now, i've gotten it a couple of times, but i haven't noticed any increase in mpg. Actually, i've not..

2002 Grand Am with 45000 kms., head gasket went and GM fixed as a good will measure. Is there a problem with these cars and does GM have ANOTHER secret fix for premature head gasket failures. Eric

I have a 2002 grand am gt. When static the engin rpm will climb to 3900 and drop back to approx. 3700 and climb again. It has error codes po404 and po302. Has anybody else seen this problem.

« seems high to me. Struts are usually about 200 each or less. so he is quoting you 8 hours labor at minimum assuming 100 per hour for labor. Get a quote from Firestone or Goodyear or Pep boys, »
