Does anyone know the check engine codes for a 2002 dodge ram 1500 2dr. slt truck? My check engine light came on after a recent fuel fill up, i check the code P1491 emission control at auto zone. I would hate to take it to the dealer and pay them to tell me i need a new gas cap or air filter...I al..

I bought a 2002 dodge ram with a 5.9L engine. I do not have an owners manual. Could someone please... look in their owners manual and tell me what the recommended oil is for this truck thanks a lot

I have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4x4 and I am getting rear end noise. You will start to hear it at 30 mph and gets real noticable @ 50, but at 70 it is less noticable. It does not seem to change in pitch with speed. It is like a hum.... When putting under load is when you will hear it. At coasting, ..

« It is not the ring and pinion (not yet anyway) because it would change pitch with speed. It is very likely the pinion bearings with the one closest to pinion head being the likley cause here. Second.. »
