Post subject: 2002 Dodge Neon Trans Problems

When I my 2002 Dodge Neon the speedometer does not register it stays in first gear the whole time i am driving and the check engine light is on!! What do I do?? I have already replaced the trans ecu i don't know what else to do!! PLEASE HELP
