My 01 sunfire was working fine then the other day i went out to start it and it wouldnt start the lights and radio worked didnt make any noise when trying to start so i tried to give the battery a boost didnt work so i used a battery charge and it charged my batter half way car started then stopped wouldnt charge the battery fully so i got a new battery still doesnt work but i believe the vehicle is locked i tried turning it on and waiting 10 min thing but nuttin worked any ideas what the problem is ???

having trouble with 96 sunfire, rich on gas, hard to start - i recently bought a 96 Pontiac Sunfire gt with a 2.4 twincam motor, it is a automatic, it starts only if gas peddle is pressed during, then when started black smoke comes out from muffler, wont stay started without reving engine and constanly pressing..
