2001 Hyundai Elantra

I had a 2001 Hyundai Elantra GLS 5 speed before. Wow what a step up! I liked my Elantra but the quality level of the new Sonata is vastly higher. The V6 is amazing & I prefer it in the looks department to the Accord (which I was comparing it against as a former Honda Accord owner at one point)..

--i did not screw on tighly the gas cap on 2001 hyundai elantra gt and the check engine light came on and stayed on even after the gas cap was screwed back on tightly --question--what can i do to get the check engine light to turn off...thanks

« turn you cap at least two to three full turns. The light should go out within a week. Don't unscrew it and tighten it, won't work. If it doesn't go out you can buy a new HYNDAI GAS CAP from your dea.. »

My 2001 Hyundai Elantra has a high pitch noise when in gear and stops when I brake. Begins again as soon as I release the brakes. All fluids are full (engine, transmission, powersteering). There is no power loss, very annoying. Concerned.
