2001 Ford Focus

I have a 2001 Ford focus... Recently I started to hear what sounded like a warning tone on ignition, that lasted a second or so. Checked with the dealership, and the head mech said that he had no idea what it might mean!?! Just today, on ignition, I heard three distinct tones. Any ideas out there?

Is it possible to add air conditioning in to 2001 Ford Focus? I thought to maybe buy from crashed focus all the staff and install in my car? Is that possible? I have some mechanical knowledge but... Car is great but as days become hotter it is hard to enjoy driving in a souna like focus is...

does any one know if the 2001 ford focus has an onboard diagnostics test? If so how do you get to it? and what are the codes, Or better yet where could I find them? -- Message posted using More information at
