2nd post : 2001 Buick Century 112000 miles. I took this car to a transmission shop for this problem(very good shop) they checked the transmission out and told me it was working fine and if I could live with the check engin light, drive it! This was about a month ago and the check engin light come..

Window is off track, motor may be OK, door panel looks hard to remove, dont need a big hassle, should I attempt repair or take out a loan?

I have a 2001 Buick Century that makes a strange sound occassionaly after applying the brakes and making a turn. It's almost like a grinding/vacuum sound. The SES, Trac Control, and ABS lights come on periodically. I've had my mechanic check it out and he can't find anything wrong. Any ideas?
