I wanted to get advice on handling this issue, I got a Honda Accord EX last year and this weekend I tried to replace the air filter. This was the first time I've tried to open it, supposedly the oil change place had to to examine it before. The air box is capped with a lid held down by four scr..

At idle in neutral, the engine surges between 1100 and 1700 RPM. After 5 miles of driving the check light came on. Any ideas what I should check or is it better to go to the dealer. TIA Anon
