2001 Accord EX V6

I wanted to get advice on handling this issue, I got a Honda Accord EX last year and this weekend I tried to replace the air filter. This was the first time I've tried to open it, supposedly the oil change place had to to examine it before. The air box is capped with a lid held down by four scr..

At idle in neutral, the engine surges between 1100 and 1700 RPM. After 5 miles of driving the check light came on. Any ideas what I should check or is it better to go to the dealer. TIA Anon

« Thanks Curly, but it didn't seem to help. I went out to the cold car this morning and opened the radiator cap. It appeared to be full to the top. The reservoir was about 1/2 inch below the min mar.. »

2001 accord ex v6 twice after driving for about 1 hour and after parking and exiting the car my fan was still working for about 6-10 minutes each time with keys out. is it normal?
