Is there a simple way to remove this radio?...actually I just need the
serial and may not have to remove. Chilton manual says I should disarm
and shunt SRS (air bags) and it looks like I will have to take almost
every panel off the front to get at the radio. I read elsewhere that I
can just remove the panel surrounding the radio??
Thanks in advance.
K.

Only the center panel needs removed. You can buy the OEM service manual from
www.helminc.com
