2000 Honda Passport

My daughter has a 2000 Honda Passport that starting smoking and skipping. I found the skip to be on cylinder #6. The problem appears to be too much gas. I can pull the plug after driving, and the plug will be covered with gas. I have tried a different coil pack and have also swapped the injector with another cylinder but still have the same results.
I have also changed the fuel pressure regulator after reading that a leaking diaphram would cause #6 cylinder to be too rich. I have run it with the injector unplugged and the plug will remain dry until I plug the injector up again and smoke returns and I can pull plug and it will be soaked again. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this?
