According to my independent mechanic, error code P1399 is undocumented -- and of course my Civic has it. Does anyone know what the code means? Thanks -- RB

Howdy, just wondering on my recently purchased 2000 Civic 4 door sedan 77,000 miles, dealer put new Dunlop SP20FE P185 65R14 tires on it. They seem a bit thin so I was wondering if the rims will take a larger/wider tire, not low profile ones? Also, I'm assuming there is a hidden antennae with an..

No problem but mine has never been changed (50K miles) should it be ? (Honda dealer says they can do it for $ 45.00)
« no. of course. but you're better off giving them the money and having them /not/ change it since that way there will be no contamination and no seal problems. honda power steering systems are go.. »

2000 Civic Timing Belt or Chain?? - I was at a local dealer today looking at a 2000 Civic EX. It had 66,000 miles . The salesman told me that you don't have to change the timing belt because it had a timing chain. Is that correct?
