Post subject: 1999 Civic - Battery Replacement Problems Get Alert

Hello!

My 1999 Honda Civic was having some battery issues, so I went out and got a new battery, and started to replace the old. However, when everything's hooked up, when I try to start the car, an alarm goes off, and it refuses to start at all.

I believe this is due to the factory-brand CD player, since I know there's a code that needs to be put in - but is the code required for getting the entire car to work as well? Any aid would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Smile
