My '98 is quite a dog, doesn't seem to pull very strongly, although it runs well and smoothly. Looking for chips/mods to liven it up some. I also have a cel--knock sensor. Is this normally sensor failure or wiring corrosion? My exhaust pipe is black inside indicating rich f/a ratio, how can I check for closed loop fuel system operation? Thanks for any and all help. Russ

The most popular mod for these cars is to replace the 2.2 with the
2.5.... Wink As far as the knock sensor is concerned, it's very simple
to replace. Costs about $100 at the dealer.
