The smelling of fuel is an important clue. On my 97 4.3L there is a fuel pressure regulator under the intake plennum. The diaghrphram ruptured and I could smell fuel, truck would run rough but restart. While this is not common, it does happen. They were able to fund it with a pressure tester. T..

I have a 19998 chevy blazer that wont start when its cold. If I wait a few hours until the sun comes up it starts with no problems. I live in Las Veagas so the average temp in the morning is about 36 not too exstreme, In input would be greatly appreciated
