Here is my problems: While in park i have high idling over 2000 RPM's, check engine light is on and as i go to slow down it seems to jerk a little as i am coming to a complete stop. I need some help with this as i am not even remotely close to being a mechanic. Thanks.

I just went to the dealer and had a remanuf. 3.5L engine put in. I've had to go back twice because of the radiator fluid all leaking out and the temp pegged out. New water pump also. With the 3 yr 30k guarantee should they fix it without charging me ANYTHING? Is the 3.5L a reliable engine? I had 1..
« Just went meaning how many months ago? ANYTHING? Should have nothing to do with the 3/36 warranty, if you complained about it and they havent fixed it the dealer should take responsibly. But keep in.. »

First time I had engine repairs done since purchased 3 years ago. Second owner. Repairs consist of checking engine for any internal damage. R & R Timing Belt,Water Pump & Seals.This cost me $800.00. Was I overcharged?

how do I change the fuel filter and the fuel pump, and does anyone know where it is located on the car?
« They are both located at the gas tank. You can get the pump out by opening up access panel in trunk. But if you have to ask were it is, it is too big off ajob for you to do on your own. Get a frie.. »
« David you do the same!! the fuel filter is not in the tank. The fuel filter mounts to the frame rail in front of the fuel tank. The inlet and outlet ends of the filter are marked for correct install.. »

Help 1997 Intrepid - my 1997 intrepid seems to be locked in 2nd gear. it will not shift at 35 mph.... the engine just revs. wife says that the engine light came on then went off.... came back on again. is this a trans axle problem,tranny,torque converter or diagnostic..
