Post subject: 1995 subura imprezza awd acceleration problems

my subura imprez will go all the way to 80 kilometers an hr and then just stop accelerating, after that it needs the push of life to get it to 100 but once i'm over 90 its alright and to get to 70 i'm fine, but that in between gap has been growing. what can it be, can the fuel pump be dirty? is there a way to clean this? also the gas consumption has been getting relatively worse this is why i mention the fuel pump, it has gone from 8 liters per 100 kilometers to about 11 liters :S please help!

Could be fuel flow (pump/filter/regulator), air flow (plugged filter/
collapsed intake hose), or exhaust flow (crimped pipe or plugged
muffler/catalytic converter). Or even bad plug wires, or bad plugs.

No check engine light?
