My friend has asked me to take a look at her speedometer problem on her '94 accord. I have some experience with Hondas--- but all of my Hondas are Preludes from long ago-- a 1980 and a 1988, both of which had speedometer cables. What type of speedometer system do the accords from this era use-..

I've noticed for some time now that the driver side window has been rather slow to close and often showed hesitancy while moving up. Lowering the window has never been the problem. Today I got to a point where I could not close the window more than half way up after I entered a parking garage..
« IIRC, this is a common problem that is addressed by spraying the weatherstrip channels with silicone lubricant spray. Mike »
« All you should need is some lubrication of the the front and/or rear window track in the driver door. There isn't much you can screw up by just taking the door panel (interior) off. Use a grease cal.. »

« I think they came with it. Today, the Civic EX has a VTEC motor but the LX doesn't, and I believe that as recently as 2002 that was the case in the Accord as well. '89 Acura NSX, an expensive spo.. »

Hi, I have another question regarding my 1994 Accord LX. Can I install a 2001 or 2002 4-cylinder, 4 lug Accord EX rim on my 1994 Accord LX or is it a different size? Thanks alot in advance.
