1992 Honda Accord

ok, so i got a 1992 accord from a friend of my father, the "engine was blown" but my dad and some of his friends worked on it and only had to replace a few parts, now the problem is, when the cars cold it starts up and runs fine, once it gets warm if you pump the gas the rpms go up then drop below..

Does anyone have experience converting their R12 system to R134a ? I saw that interdynamics (www.id-usa.com) has a kit. Does this kit work.. anything to look out for etc. All help is appreciated on this matter.

Hi All, Hopefully someone can help.. I'm having trouble with my 92 Accord.. 5spd... About once a week, it won't start..... tries to, but just won't fire. I'll let it sit for a few hours, then it will start without a problem We've replaced all filters, plugs, plug wires, distributer cap and rotor...

« Have you cleaned your fuel injectors? You can get some Techroline at you local autoparts. I use Cheveron gas and it keeps my injectors clean. 5spd... I'll »

« I think I had the same problem with my 92 accord last fall. The fix was to replace the electric relay located underneath the sterring wheel. Its a little tricky to install but it can be done the par.. »

I know this is a Honda forum , but , I have a 1992 Accord.I've been offered a "93 Camry....As far as reliability which would be the best?..both have been maintained thru the years and mileage is very close....comments?
