One of the two hoses leading into the heater core by the brake master cylinder has a leak. Am I seeing it wrong or is the only way to replace this hose involve taking off the intake manifold? Any tricks or suggestions? Thanks
« You can replace them with the manifold in place, but it's certainly easier if you take it off. »

My volvo has been having problems not starting lately. No crank whatsoever. Then typically a few minutes later it will start right up. Other problems that are related: The car just kills. The radio flicks on and off and then the car dies. Sometimes it starts right up. RIght now it is dead, ..
« Is it an automatic? If so, first thing to check is the park/neutral interlock switch, try starting in neutral. Also remove the fuses a few at a time and scrub the fuse holders, inspect the ends of.. »

still very cold here. Attempted to jump start. Actually got the car to start, twice, but again the engine killed. I don't know what is happening. It could be the battery, the alternator, the starter, something else! MAny things at once. Now the car won't respond to jumps again...
