| Fist of all, Hello Everybody! im a newbie here, just registered couple minutes ago....anyway, I have a 1990 bmw 318i that doesnt kick over (engine combustion). Turning the key to momentary start i get clicking and the sound you get before the engine actually turns over (muffler rumbles), but no start up. The tow truck guy said it may be the gas cap, and lack of pressure in the fuel system. So I bought a new gas cap and it fights snug. Left the new cap on for four hours, hopefully building "pressure", and tried to start it. Same thing happened. So, I was wondering if I should wait longer for the pressure to build, or if a gas cap is not the solution to my problem. You guys will be a great help to this fool in need of some. thank you all.

318i 95 (OverHeart - Fan - Battery Problem) - i was here like a week and a half ago asking for help on my fan, i dont know whats going on, the clutch pump sounds about right about the better kinda being flat, cause the pipe that connects the A/C snapped as some tool of a tow driver hooked it on..
1985 318i: problems shifting with manual transmission - I just acquired a BMW 318i. I am sure that the clutch is working well. When I first drove the car, I had no problems shifting. Then, after a few days, I began having problems shifting into 1st gear. Not every time, but on a regular basis, the stick.... |
