Post subject: 1989 cougar has problems HELP

It idols low and it takes 3 to 4 times to start. Ill burn out my ignition
if I dont get it fixed, but I dont know what to do. a few said timing,
some said fuel pump...help!

Try the Idle Air Control valve.
