1989 Honda Accord

My car has had oil leak after oil leak and yet I always seem to have something burning, even after I get all of my oil leaks fixed (or atleast i am told they are fixed by the shop). I was told, the original reason why my car was burning oil had to do with my oil pan gasket needing to be replaced...

I've got a 1989 Honda Accord that was broken into toward the end of January. The repair place said that only the steering column -case was broken & the window. They said they didn't see any electrical or damage to any of the wires by the ignition. Nevertheless, after we got our car back- I noticed..

1989 Honda Accord 5 speed, 2.0 Car will start and run for about 5 seconds at 3000 RPM and then shut down. It will do this EVERY time I fire up the car. The engine seems to sound fine. Checked for vacuum leaks and the like, but can't figure this one out.... Any thoughts? John
« Dunno, I would think the timing belt job was ok, if it sounds fairly normal. A tooth off would effect the timing a good bit, and at the least would run rough, or require a perverted timing setting t.. »

I have a noise which kind of sounds like a bad outer CV joint, but not quite a click. It only happens on severe left turns and appears to be coming from the rear. At first I thought it was a bad CV joint, so I replaced the right half-shaft, but the noise is still there. I checked the suspension..
