could anyone tell me why my car want move in 1st gear and 2nd gear? And the car is making a ticking/knocking noise rite near the valve cover area. can somone plz help me i hope its not the motor

Sounds like 2 unrelated things to me - the ticking from the valve cover area most likely means you need a valve adjustment.
As to why it won't move - *could* be the clutch is either way out of adjustment or needs to be replaced.
Is the clutch slipping? i.e. when you let it out does the engine rev up and the car not go?
