Post subject: 1988 Acura Integra GSR maintenance

Car has a little over 100K miles so is it time change the timing belt?
Maintenance say check belt but no mention of replacement. Will engine be
damaged when timing belt breaks?

I'm thinking you should be on your second belt and planning on the
third, according to the years, No?

Sorry, should be 1998 with 100K miles.

his engine WILL be damaged if the belt breaks.

Change the belt, you're overdue and it will be too expensive _when_ it
breaks, as you said.

acura integra - im thinking about putting a b20b engine in my 94 acura integra and i was just wondering if the transmission from the original b18 will fit or do i need to get a new tranny any suggestions on this?

95 acura integra transmission - I have a 95 integra automatic tranny. My problem is that theres something wrong it when i try to shift the gears sometimes it clicks in and sometimes it doesnt. when it clicks in to drive, it wokrs for a few seconds then it doesnt run but when i step on....
