Archived from groups: alt>autos>nissan>z-car (more info?)

Over the weekend I removed my '85 300zx from storage. I attached the
battery and it started just like it did before I put it in storage.
The only problem number of items do not work like the dashboard tach,
temp, Speedometer, oil pressure, voltmeter or warning indicator
lights. Headlights will not pop up, turn signal, heater and fan,
power door locks and wipers. The radio works and power windows but
noting else. According to the Owners manual the fuse or fusible link
could be bad. I checked all the fuses and they are good. The manual
does not tell how to tell if the fusible link is melted. I looked at
them and the wires are intact. I really don't know what happened and
don't know what to do or where to start. Can anyone help or have
suggestions? Thanks in advance

Hello,

With the fuses, you also have sort of contactors. They can be damaged.
You should probably remove and replace them.

But I'm not sure of the result.
