another possibility is they may have let the Trans hang from the
clutch disc splines before they mated the Trans up, that can put a
bend in the disc. some times they can be a real pain to get mated up
and there is a temptation to remove the transmission jack so you can
"jiggle" the Trans, just a thought, please do not ask me how I know
