Post subject: 1977 Celica GT Instument panel...

I recently bought a 1977 Celica GT, and while I was driving I flipped on the fan and my tachometer, fuel gauge, and engine temp. gauge flat lined.
Now, I can't get them to work. It's not a fuse. The MPH gauge and lights/radio still work. The car runs fine.

The "CRG" (charge) light that is in the temp. gauge appears a bit brighter when you try to use the fan. It doesn't have A/C. It also doesn't have a battery gauge. I have started it and driven it about 6 times fine. Hazard lights flash in the back fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

(also, when i checked under the hood, there was no belt from the crankcase to the air pump-- so i put one on...I wonder why the original owner never did...)
