I purchased a 2nd hand AR 166 (year 2000 model). How can I find out
where it was manufactured? Italy?

Alfa don't manufacture any cars outside of Italy.

New V6 blocks come from a jointly owned venture with General Motors in
Australia - but I'm not sure about the 2.2 JTS block.

Anyway, that's all academic, 'cos a Y2k 166 will have a Fiat block in
the TSparks or an Alfa block in the V6.

All 166s were almost 100% Italian.
