Post subject: 1192 Chec Cav Blower not working

The blower for my heater quit working a couple of days ago. The temp gage
goes to the normal range so I know the engine is heating. When I turn the
switch on the fan nothing happens.

What can I troubleshoot to determine the cause?

The 1192 Chec is a very early model indeed!
I bet they still used a fuse for that blower and perhaps yours has melted. Check that for starters. You could also apply 12V directly to the motor itself to see if it runs. If it does then perhaps the switch is bad.

I can remember when a heater was an option that one paid extra for.
