I actually had the same thing happen with a 1992 605. An idiot supplied the
"right" paint according to body no. and paint code for Beige Mayfair
Metallic.
Only discovered later, from another, knowledgeable supplier that some
Peugeot colors - with exactly the same color code - come in two different
shades!
The supplier has to see the car to determine which is the correct one.
Maybe the same thing applies to your metallic blue?
